This week is the second week in our “not a fan” series and it was all about the invitation.  Christ called anybody (everybody) to follow him.  Daymond talked about what it meant to be called to follow a Rabbi in those times and what a ruckus it must have caused to have Jesus be calling fishermen and tax collectors.  Check out the podcast.

Special Music this week was from Charlie Hall’s The Bright Sadness CD.  The song Hookers and Robbers speaks to who Jesus called and reminds us to “Come As You Are”.  The rest of the set is as follows.

  • I Will Follow (Chris Tomlin)
  • How Can I Keep From Singing (Chris Tomlin)
  • Bless His Name (Jeremy Riddle version)
  • Blessed Be Your Name (Matt Redman)
  • Jesus I Surrender (Jeff Deyo)
