Devotional for the Week of January 5, 2014
Key Scripture:
Philippians 1:27 Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. The whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel.
Key questions:
Have you prepared yourself mentally, emotionally, and spiritually to follow Christ regardless of what happens in your life, whether good or bad? If not take a moment and ask God to help you grow in this area.
How has your conduct been over the last several months? Are there some areas that haven’t honored Christ and the Holy Spirit is convicting you to repent and walk in holiness.
Have you decided to stand firm with other believers at Faith Fellowship to see what God has in store for us? If not, what would it take to help you make that decision?
